Brother's Blood takes place on the mean streets of a city in decay, where a recently released convict begins to take murderous revenge against his childhood friends, whom he believes let him take the fall for a crime they collectively committed. As the bodies start piling up, one of the friends, now a cop, will stop at nothing to put an end to the murderous rampage and to right the many wrongs of their tragically violent past.

Spain. The Basque Country. Sometime in the 90s. Josu Jon, a young member of a terrorist organization, has suffered an almost complete memory loss after being wounded in a shooting with the Spanish police. As he awaits for his trial, his condition is treated in the prison hospital. Other inmates belonging to the same organization try to make him remember how brave a gudari -a Basque soldier- he is and how he must join back the armed fight as soon as he gets out of prison. Meanwhile, Xabier, a college professor who has been death threatened for his political views on the Basque situation, is having an affair with one of his students, Francesca, who -as a young psychologist- happens to end up helping Josu Jon recover his memory. Awarm feeling of mutual affection grows between her and her patient. At a point, there doesn't seem to be clear whether Josu Jon really wants to recover his memory or whether he'd rather forget forever who he actually is.
