Masahiko Koseki, a judo master, gets in several fights as a result of protecting a young woman. Despite his success, Koseki is expelled from his judo school because of his propensity for street fighting. He goes to work for a gangster named Joji, but when he realizes that Joji is mixed up in the slave trade, Koseki helps the police in their attempts to foil Joji.

A working class Irish family is caught up in a zombie invasion of Dublin, Ireland. When their son, Billy, becomes a zombie the family chooses to take care of him in the home much to the chagrin of the neighbors and the local crime boss. Meanwhile, they've invited an American documentarian to film their situation and the film crew is caught up in the mayhem. Will the family prove that blood is thicker than water or will their love lead to their eventual doom? One thing is clear, for the zombies in Ireland, the famine is definitely over.

虎(hǔ )妞娘(niáng )叹(tàn )口气，其实我也想去，不过总觉得对(duì )不住你，所以我没去。

Depressing, dark love drama with thin story line, that makes you wonder whether the makers believe in life at all. The male protagonist is constantly running into problems and gets beaten up time and time again, so much so that after a while I could not help laughing, which cannot have been the intention of the makers: they are vèry, vè(🏞)ry serious. The crux of the film seems to be a sharp comment on the money driven German society, in which it is impossible to show any real affection; of course this could be a dilemma of the makers themselves: money is not the problem, but what you do with it. Not forgotten is to include an extreme right wing man whose self-proclaimed purpose in life it is to free the street of socially undesirable elements. It is all very heavy symbolism with no relief, but it is certainly well-made with a script that - as the film progresses - becomes less and less surprising. The two acting leads are good; fine cinematography. (jan onderwater)
