Ok-bun is a good-natured country maiden who grew up with her grandmother after she lost her parents at a young age. When even her grandmother passes away, Ok-bun leaves her hometown. At the country bus stop, she meets Yu-jin who is a vagabond living by his cons. The innocent Ok-bun loses her chastity to Yu-jin and she becomes his slave earning him money. Ok-bun foolishly loves Yu-jin and follows him. After seeing him in the arms of another woman, Ok-bun begs Yu-jin to go and live with her in a quiet country town but he stubbornly refuses. Ok-bun leaves Yu-jin. He wanders about. Realizing that Ok-bun is the only woman who truly loved him, Yu-jin goes searching for her.
