An incredible spy story set in Tunis but actually shot in Rome and the surroundings. It has no meaning and no script. The actors are simply ridiculous and seem to be on the set by chance. I can hardly write about playing, since nobody seemed to play, they just stared at the camera and spoke. An ultra-low budget movie, so silly yet not funny. I recorded it on TV (very late at night or early in the morning) because I am a fan of Italian police movies of the 70es and I never heard of this title: there were good reasons for that. Anyway, this movie has nothing to do with that genre. Stay away from this movie. Please, do not lose your time.

This fictionalized story, based on the family life of writer James Jones, is an emotionless slice-of-life story. Jones here is portrayed as Bill Willis, a former war hero and now successful author who obviously drinks too much and is starting to experience health problems. Living in France with his wife, daughter, and an adopted son, the family travels an unconventional road that leaves all of them as outsiders to others. Preaching a sexual freedom, his daughter's sexual acceptance begins at an early age and betrays her when the family moves to Hanover in America. Her sexuality is definitely not the normal for American teens and gives her a bad reputation and outcasts her. Meanwhile her brooding brother struggles with his own inner turmoils about his early desertion in life. Only within the tight knit confines of his family is he comfortable to even speak

“The Park Bench” mixes live action with vivid animation to create a whimsical tale of life, love – and literature. Emily (Nicole Hayden, “Mad Men”), a librarian-to-be, is assigned to tutor Mateo (Walter Perez, “Friday Night Lights”), a Latino undergrad, in American Literature. They meet three times a week on a park bench to discuss the classics. The conversations leads to confessions and, eventually, to revelations, like the fact that she has a pharmacist fiancée and that he is quite a Don Juan.
