A cloaked figure slips into an exclusive psychiatric clinic and murders one of the female patients. Meanwhile, various sexuals liaisons are revealed. The mystery killer continues with his massacre: he beheads a nurse with a scythe, pushes a chauffeur into a spiked “Iron Maiden”, strangles an older female patient, kills a nymphomaniac with an axe, and shoots a lesbian through the neck with a crossbow. Doctor Clay and the police set a trap for the killer using one of the attractive female patients as bait. However, they are not prepared for the onslaugth that follows…

For some strange reason I have now sat through practically all of these 70's cheerleader movies. Only The Swinging Cheerleaders (directed by Jack Hill) is a drive-in classic, but Satan's Cheerleaders comes close. The Cheerleaders (1972)is truly awful but it does deliver on the softcore sleaze. The Revenge of the Cheerleaders features the disturbing images of a very pregnant Rainbeaux Smith and a not-so-pregnant David Hasselhoff cavorting around in the nude. The Pom-Pom Girls is surprisingly innocent and realistic and might have appealed more to actual 70's teenagers than horny middle-aged men. The Cheerleader's Wild Weekend is forgettable (at least, I've forgotten it). Then there's this movie, which is probably the most obscure of the cycle. The plot resembles that of the original The Cheerleaders where our nubile heroines attempt to "wear out" the opposing team before the big game, except that it's set on the beach (where's Jaws when you need him?) It might be the worst of 70's cheerleader exploitation flicks, but at least it's better than Bring It On.

Three segments: in the first one (Il vittimista) a teacher is obsessed with the idea his wife betrays him. When he goes to a shrink he lets him understand that his fear has to do with him having cheated on her for some time. When he dumps the mistress and confesses to his wife she forgives him while the mistress seems to take it rather seriously. In the second segment (Sadik) a wife has her husband dress himself with a comic character costume. In the last segment (L'autostrada del sole) a man has to spend the night in a mysterious hotel because of his car breaking down.
