Taliban territory, Afghanistan. Two American soldiers crash their helicopter and get lost in the middle of the desert. The meeting of a Caucasian officer who injured his leg and an African American soldier who has no injuries at all, starts off rough from the beginning. The African American soldier tries to run away alone, but the Caucasian officer threatens him with a gun, and they are forced to find a way to survive together. They discover an opium field by chance and meet an Afghanistan family who cultivates the opium field for a living. The strange co-habitation of the soldiers and the family who have to be hostile to each other yet who cannot totally hate each other begins.

A group of world leaders awakens a creature beneath the ocean floor, and mankind's only hope res

André Breton lives in the Glasshouse, an old factory in which provocative artists have had their studios for the last 15 years. But, located in the middle of Berlin, the Glasshouse is endangered and under threat of gentrification. The old solidarity of the artists' commune begins to unravel. André has lost his confidence and is grieving over the death of his closest friend, the novelist Jacques Vache. During one of his wanderings through the city he picks up Bosnian waif and stray, Lexia, who appears to him first as a fallen angel and perhaps also as a saviour. At the same time Tristan Tzara, who has been missing in action for years, turns up at the Glasshouse to give the unravelling group a new goal: a spectacular attack on a fashion show by Malcolm McLaren during Berlin Art Week. An altercation breaks out about the definition of the group, escalates during further arguments about erotic territorial rights, art and commerce, underground and hype. Ultimately the poison of betrayal threatens to destroy this small universe.

Accepting work as labourers for businessman Gerald (Owen Roe) on a soggy building site in rural Ireland, they share digs in a dilapidated corrugated iron hut reminiscent of Charlie Chaplin’s in The Gold Rush. Their task is to prepare the way for Gerald’s brain wave; a theme park celebrating the famine with stick-thin local girls playing the victims and a bright pink ship-themed restaurant to serve the visitors. Unpaid, unhappy and embroiled in a national scandal, the duo find their friendship tested to the limit.
