A police inspector Dusan investigates an unusual case, the death of Marjan Ozim. The inspector develops an obsession with the case, especially when he realizes it was suicide. He starts to live in the deceased's apartment, digging through his life, getting involved with people Marjan Ozim knew, gradually taking over his identity. As the story progress, the reasons for the inspector's obsession are revealed step by step. One of them is death of his daughter Eva, who died in a car accident, when Dusan was driving the car. His ex-wife blames him for theirs daughter's death in the accident, which took place on the very same bridge where Marjan Ozim committed suicide. From time to time, Dusan returns to the bridge, the location of both accidents, where he looks down into the abyss below, perhaps considering taking his own life. Dusan develops an unusual relationship with Marjan's former secret lover Milena. He finds out that she blames herself for Marjan's death, because she left him to return to her family. Eventually she discovers that Marjan had other lovers while he was seeing her. This beautiful, somewhat mysterious woman enraptures Dusan as well. The dividing line between inspector Dusan's and the Marjan Ozim's life is slowly disappearing. Once, in a surge of passion, Dusan and Milena make love in the Marjan's apartment, with Dusan ?in the role? of Marjan. As the moment of passion fades, this brief relationship also turns out to be just another blind alley for Dusan. By the end of the film, it becomes uncertain whether Dusan is even investigating the suicide of Marjan Ozim, or actually his own. A film that starts as a police thriller and then continues as an intimate thriller. Film where death is waiting to happen.

Haciendo honor a su título, "Locura de amor" despertó una locura pasional entre el público español e hispanoamericano. El arrollador é(😽)xito de ese film permitió a Juan de Orduña afrontar Pequeñeces, una gran superproducción estrenada el 11 de marzo de 1950. En ella volvió a incluir a Aurora Bautista, pero con un registro muy diferente al de su colaboració(😶)n previa. Orduña, actor en "Boy" (1926), con Pequeñeces quiso rendir homenaje a su autor, el padre Luis Coloma (1851-1915). Del desorbitado presupuesto de 4 millones de pesetas, 400.000 se destinaron a los 19 vestidos diseñados por Pedro Rodríguez para Aurora Bautista -de seda natural, al igual que la ropa interior- y 100.000 a la construcción de fastuosos decorados que servían de escenario a las "pequeñeces" de Currita Albornoz en tiempos de la caída de Amadeo de Saboya: adulterios, intrigas políticas… Uno de los logros de Orduña fue sortear la censura a pesar de que, como señaló un crítico de la época, presentó "a la aristocracia como zafios horteras y las mujeres del pueblo como damas de porte señ(🍘)oril".

The actor, Santiago Miranda, frantically abandons the production set of the popular soap opera "The lovers of the Liberator" because he doesn’t agree with the script considering it a misunderstanding of history and instead flees toward delusion. Balancing between lucidity and madness, the actor aspires to rewrite and direct the remaining episodes of the soap opera in order to illustrate the real vision and dream of Bolivar. Miranda is also determined to finish Bolivar’s dream of creating the "Great Colombia": a strong and unified state consisting of 5 Latin-American countries that would combat the institutional chaos, lack of opportunity and ignite the rebuilding of a region that faced 160 years of internal war.
