Their arrival disturbs an established design of life. The school is preparing to its anniversary but it becomes clear that the authorities want to take it down. The headmaster by fair means or foul struggles against the heartless authorities. This is a film about a God-forgotten mountain town, about the fears, hurts, disorientation of its inhabitants, setting hopes only upon the letters addressed to God which are being written be the half-blind inmate of the boarding school.
