The story of emigrants in New York, more precisely in poor part of Brooklyn, of Serb Baja and Spaniard Alfonso and their tragicomic efforts to fit so-called New World. Bajo works illegally by day, and by night helps Alfonso at the bar. He lives at Alfonso's place with a small rooster from Yugoslavia. The rooster's crowing at dawn awakens homesickness in Alfonso's blind moher, and Bajo's longing for his three children, taken care of by his mother, far away, somewhere on the Serbian-Montenegrian border, not realizing that they are already on their way for America. During that trip, Bajo's younger son loses his life in mythical river, Rio Grande. His older son fits new life conditions perfectly. Impractical ones, old mothers, middle-aged sons and lost love will vanish in unreal world of American illusions...

The movie will tell the story of the titular boxer who lived secretly as a bisexual, and killed Benny “The Kid” Paret in the ring, after he called him a homosexual during a weigh-in before the fight.

In a foggy winter morning, a raft brings a priest to an isolated island. He is getting paid to perform a wedding ritual under very mysterious conditions. The groom is Victor Frankenstein, and the young and beautiful bride is his cousin Elizabeth. Seven armed and dangerous mercenary soldiers have been hired to protect her against something huge that hides in the woods, awaiting for that wedding night to be consummated. Victor is the only one who knows the truth about their enemy. His secret will be paid with the life of his private army, whose men will die one by one, as the creature gets closer to his target: the bride.

The history of the film is based on the renewal of an old friendship happening in unforeseen and strange circumstances. Seyed (Behrooz Vousoughi) is a drug addict working small jobs in a theatre to pay for his heavy addiction. One day he is visited by an old friend, Ghodrat (Faramarz Gharibian), for whom he was a role model and protector when they were teenagers. Ghodrat has just been shot by the police when an armed robbery went wrong and is now looking for a safe place to lay low for a while. Hence, he comes to stay with the only person that he could trust, Seyed. However, what he sees is miles away from the Seyed that he knew and had in mind. Although they are both happy to find each other after so many years, Ghodrat is completely shocked to see Seyed, once the ruler of the high school yards and neighbourhoods, to have become a complete and utterly useless heavy drug user living in a lowly state of physical and social being.
